EVP - Electronic Voice Phenomenon
Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recordings often pick up sounds and voices that were not audible to the ear at the time of the recording. There is nothing more thrilling than catching a disembodied voice, footstep, or other sound as you play back your audio files. The clips below were collected during actual investigations. Listen closely to hear voices from beyond!
- Sunbury Business EVP
This EVP was recorded at a business in downtown Sunbury in June of 2008. Investigator Gary was in the large room outside the smaller office where 3 investigators were doing the EVP session. He heard only the voice of the female investigator, but on playback we all heard an affirmative response when we told the entity in the office that we knew he was there. The female was there, the male whose voice is heard saying "yes" was not! At least not in human form...
- Sunbury Business EVP
This EVP was recorded at the tsame business as the previous one, but 10 months later. Investigator Angel Rozell heard a loud sigh from within the room but neither she or another investigator made the sound. Listen closely and you will first hear the sound of the breath and then the investigators asking each other if they heard the sound!
- Sunbury Business EVP
- Again from our very productive and very haunted Sunbury business, in this EVP you can very clearly hear what sounds like the voice of a young female saying "Don't go on" or Don't go now... This EVP was captured by student investigator Brad near the end of the night as the investigative team was deciding whether or not to continue on for the night. Psychic investigators had earlier reported that the once human entities in the building were thought to be feeling fear generated from more negative energies on the outside. Was this voice telling us to stop what we were doing because of that fear???
- Sunbury Office EVP
- Investigator Brad captured another EVP in the Sunbury office. Although the voice sound much like the one above, the message is not so clear. What do you think is being said?
- Old Jail EVP
- Investigators Steve and Nikki Klinger captured this EVP with a whispered voice that they did not hear directly. We are unsure what was said - what do you think?
- Old Jail Jim Thorpe - "go now"
This EVP was captured by investigator Rich Rozell in the dungeon area of the jail. Listening to it, it appears his presence was not welcomed by the spirits within the jail!
- "Angel"
The Ghost Box Digital Communicator is an experimental device we are testing out. During an investigation at a residence, while attempting to make contact with spirits in the home, we captured on audio this response from the device!
- Knock three times
- At the same home where we captured the "angel" audio we had a very clear response to a request to give us an indication of whether or not anyone was there with us. Listen after the count to three when there are three definite knocks in response to the request!
- Pain
Same home as the previous 2 audio files. In this audio clip you will hear a very clear knocking response in answer to a question asking about whether or not a spirit in the home was responsible for causing people to have a feeling of head pain and discomfort shortly after we started investigating.
- "... kill me"
This EVP was captured during an investigation at a private home in Shamokin, PA, using an experimental ghost box digital communicator. What makes it especially interesting is that it is documented history that a morbidly obese male lived and died in that home in recent years, a death attributed to his poor health as a result of his weight. Also, later in the evening, during an EVP session, responses to questions seemed to indicate the presence of a female relative in the home, in a protective role, who died from breast cancer. Is this audio just a coincidental recording of radio bleed-through? Or is it evidence of communication from the beyond?
